The School is for anyone interested in acting whether amateur or professional.
It aims to develop a new awareness of the body and the imagination and offers a range of exercises, games and improvisation scenarios which help unleash creativity and connect with others. Designed to develop the inner person and relational skills, it is a place of sharing and play in which people become aware of their image, body language and voice in order to communicate their unique personality through participation in the ‘Theatrical Act’.
The School offers Amateur Workshops which give lessons on the art and practice of acting regardless of a student’s future ambitions - whether their goal is to become a more aware theatre-goer, an amateur actor, or to develop a professional acting career. The Acting Apprenticeship Course is offered to students who want to become professional actors. The Acting Studio* offers a continuing education programme free of charge, giving professional actors the opportunity to consolidate the basics, analyse their strengths and weaknesses and develop their skills and knowledge.
